What is NetworkDays?
NetworkDays for HubSpot is a HubSpot app that adds workflow actions for calculating business days. It is operated by Sharoze Iftikhar, a solutions architect and revenue operations developer. The app is installed via HubSpot’s OAuth 2.0 flow and runs on infrastructure hosted in Germany (Hetzner Cloud).
What data we collect and why
| Data | Why we collect it | Retention |
|---|---|---|
| HubSpot Portal ID | Identifies your installation | Until you uninstall |
| OAuth access token + refresh token | Authenticates API calls from your portal | Until you revoke or uninstall |
| Country setting | Determines which public holiday calendar to use | Until you change or uninstall |
| Company holidays | Applies your organization’s closure dates to business-day calculations | Until you delete them or uninstall; retained after a downgrade |
| Install, plan, and tier state | Tracks installation status, trial state, plan access, and usage limits | Until you uninstall |
| Velocity Reports tracking state and output properties | Tracks eligible deal and ticket records and stores business-day KPI results | Until you uninstall; retained at their last values after a downgrade |
| Workflow action inputs (date values, country code) | Processed in real time to return a result | Not stored – processed and discarded |
What CRM data we process, by tier
On the Free tier, Calculate Business Days and Multi-Country Calculate process only the date and country values passed as workflow inputs. Multi-Country Calculate uses the country selected manually in each workflow action. The same input-only processing applies when any of the five workflow actions run; the workflow actions themselves do not fetch the enrolled contact, company, deal, ticket, or other CRM record.
On Pro, company holidays are stored at the portal level and applied to calculations.
On Premium, the CRM card displays the contact, company, deal, or ticket record it is shown on through authorized HubSpot APIs. Velocity Reports operates only on deals and tickets, and only on the records where the customer has enabled the tracking checkbox, up to a 2,000-record cap – there is no automatic, portal-wide tracking. It reads or writes only these properties: createdate, closedate, closed_date, first_agent_reply_date, hs_is_closed, hs_pipeline, hs_pipeline_stage, and the output properties it creates (nd_business_days_open, nd_days_to_close, nd_time_to_close, nd_time_to_first_reply). Velocity Reports never reads or writes contact or company properties, and never accesses personal data – names, email addresses, phone numbers, or physical addresses.
We do not use cookies for tracking. We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties except Paddle, solely to process payments for paid upgrades.
OAuth permissions we request
NetworkDays uses HubSpot OAuth permissions to provide the features available to your portal. The permissions presented during authorization can depend on the live install configuration and the features being enabled; if an additional authorization step is required for a feature, it will be communicated during setup or upgrade.
oauth– connect and authorize the appautomation– provide HubSpot workflow actionscrm.objects.contacts.read,crm.objects.companies.read– display the CRM card on contact and company recordscrm.objects.deals.read– display the CRM card and hydrate deal records for Velocity Reportscrm.objects.deals.write,crm.schemas.deals.write– create and write the deal properties used by Velocity Reportstickets– display the CRM card on tickets, and provision/write the ticket properties used by Velocity Reports
Free workflow calculations use only their supplied date and country inputs even if your installation has broader permissions for Pro or Premium features. For questions about the permissions shown during installation or upgrade, email [email protected].
Where your data is stored
OAuth tokens and your country setting are stored in an encrypted SQLite database on the application server, hosted on Hetzner Cloud (Germany, EU). Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Access to production systems is restricted to the operator.
Payment processing
Paid upgrades (Pro and Premium) are billed through Paddle.com, acting as our merchant of record. Paddle collects and processes your payment details, billing name, and billing email directly – NetworkDays never receives or stores your card details. We store only a subscription identifier, a customer identifier, and subscription status (active, past due, canceled) to keep your portal’s tier in sync. Paddle’s own privacy policy governs the payment data it processes: paddle.com/legal/privacy.
Your rights
You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing [email protected] or by uninstalling the app from your HubSpot portal. Uninstalling revokes the OAuth token and deletes all stored data immediately. If you are in the EU or UK, you have rights under GDPR/UK GDPR including the right to access, rectify, and erase your data. Contact [email protected] to exercise these rights.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if our data practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
